The Underlying Vibe of a Store

You walk along marble flooring through an aisle of clothing you know you can’t afford. Your dirty sneakers drag across the floor as the rest of the store echoes from the combined clashing of expensive heals clicking on the floor. The ceiling is coated with extravagant chandeliers and the corners of the store are decorated with posh contemporary furniture. The expensive ambiance of the room makes you uncomfortable. You regret entering this store as you feel there are multiple sets of eyes judging every aspect of you. From the corner of your eye you see a bougie looking employee approaching you. In efforts to avoid an awkward conversation you dart to the back of the store, the sale section. You glance at a price tag of a discounted navy blazer, not even the sale items of this store are in your budget. Mentally you are punishing yourself for yet again strolling into a store you have formed a love hate relationship with. As you exit the “exclusive” clothing store you tell yourself, this is the late time I enter Aritzia.
